Learning Objects
In collaboration with subject matter experts Robyn Brighton and Christie Miller, I designed these two learning objects in Articulate Storyline for the Service Learning Across the Curriculum course at Valencia College. Participants of the course create a plan to infuse service learning into a current course by linking course outcomes to meaningful service in the community.
This learning object is an interactive Venn diagram that provides an overview of the roles and relationships of a service learning project.
This learning object is a guide to the process for determining a service learning project, with embedded sample curriculum plans, web resources, and video interviews from two faculty members with exemplary service learning projects. I recorded the video interviews in a green screen studio at Valencia College, and edited the video content with Final Cut Pro X.
